I remember being dragged to swap-meets as a kid and absolutely hating them. It was rare that we went as a family, but when we did, it was after Sunday mass, in the scorching LA heat, doing something I use to hate, but may now have a slight addiction to. I came across Molcajete Dominguero through Instagram and was immediately intrigued. It is advertised as a monthly INDOOR event where local artists and vendors come together to sell unique Latin inspired items. If I had to describe it my way, I would call it a refined version of a Latin swap-meet. Items range from cupcakes to candles to beautifully handmade clothes. I truly wasn’t prepared to be so inclined to buy everything I saw, so just know that for their next event, July 16th, I will be ready.
